Breeding Report of A New Seed-squash Variety Whitesnow Princess

籽用西葫芦新品种白雪公主是以QS9916为母本、QS9901为父本育成的杂交种。2007年在民勤、金昌井灌区进行的多点试验中,折合平均产籽量2 024 kg/hm2,较对照品种山西X8增产18.4%,该品种籽粒含粗蛋白466.9 g/kg、粗脂肪405.3 g/kg、棕榈酸12.41%、硬脂酸5.86%、油酸44.03%、亚油酸37.55%、亚麻酸0.16%。生育期110 d,抗白粉病,籽粒大而饱满,高产优质,适宜在甘肃民勤县、河西走廊及新疆、内蒙古等地同类地区种植。

Whitesnow princess was a new seed-squash variety winter wheat variety bred by crossing with the parental combination of QS9916/ QS9901.In 2007,the average seed yield of Whitesnow princess was 2 024 kg/hm2 and 18.4% higher than of the check Shanxi X8 in variety multi-place test of well irrigation area of Minqin,Jinchang.The results showed that the varieties of grain crude protein,crude fat,palmitic acid,stearic acid,oleic acid,linoleic acid,linolenic acid were 466.9 g/kg,405.3 g/kg,12.41%,5.86%,44.03%,37.55%,0.16%,respectively.The growth period 110 days In addition,Whitesnow princess was resistant to powdery mildew,large and plump grain,high-quality.It is suitable to plant in the region of Minqin county in Gansu,Hexi corridor and Xinjiang,Inner Mongolia and other places the same type of area.
