The paper briefly introduces the background for the relay pump operation experiment for the Heating branch of east district of general company of thermal dynamic in Zhengzhou,illustrates the location of the relay pump,the main equipment and the relative supervision stations,and concludes the initial of one relay pump or the operation of two pumps has the limited influence on the network according to the analysis of the experimental data.
