France has accumulated rich experiences in the protection and reuse of historic buildings after a long process in heritage protection with the development of ideas and techniques, there have been some significant changes in the protection and rehabilitation fo historic buildings in contemporary France.This article attempts to interpret these changes and new concepts of design through case studies.
