新老大学英语四级和雅思听力试题的对比研究——改革后新四级成效初探 被引量:6

摘要 本研究采用定性、定量分析的方法,对新老大学英语四级和雅思考试的听力试题进行了对比分析,通过对上海某大学独立学院101名复合型专业学生在新老大学英语四级和雅思考试的听力试题中的表现进行分析,及对其采用调查问卷进行了了解,发现:(1)新大学英语四级听力考试与雅思听力考试而不是老四级考试更为接近,即新四级更偏重于测试学生的交际能力;(2)学生更欢迎改革后的新四级。因此,可以得出结论:四级考试的听力试题改革是成功的,它更具有交际性测试特征,也更为广大考生所接受。 This paper reports a study that includes the comparative analysis of the listening subtests of the new CET- 4 (from December 2006 on), old CET-4 (before December 2006) and IELTS, an investigation on 101 Chinese college students' performance in these three listening subtests, together with a student questionnaire. Quantitative and qualitative methods are employed in analyzing the data gathered. The major findings are as follows : 1 ) the listening subtest of the new CET-4 resembles that of IELTS more than that of the old CET-4, and thus does test more of students' communicative ability than before ; 2) the new CET-4, compared with the old one, is more popular with college students. Therefore, a tentative conclusion can be made that the reform of CET-4 listening subtest is quite successful, which is more communicative and favored by college students.
