How to construct the rhyme is an important issue for the New Poetry.Through analyzing the theory advanced by the Crescent Moon School,we can know that the characteristics of the vernacular Chinese language play a decisive role in the construction of the rhyme for the New Poetry.Therefore,we can draw the conclusion that the construction of the rhyme of the New Poetry should be based on the exploration of the characteristics of the vernacular Chinese language.This finding is of great importance for understanding the development of the New Poetry.
