Ugandan Coupd' Etat in 1966 and the Development of the Ugandan Nation-state

乌干达独立以来军事政变频发。1966年军事政变是乌干达独立以来的第一次军事政变。这场政变虽然遏制了巴干达人的地方民族主义分裂倾向,维护了国家的统一;但政变也导致了国内民族间的矛盾,新的地方民主主义力量泛滥起来,为乌干达民族国家未来的发展埋下了隐患。

Since independence, there have been many coupd＇etats in Uganda. The coupd＇etat in 1966 was the first one in Uganda. It con- strained the fractionalism of Boagandan local nationalism and consolidated Ugandan nation -state. The coupd＇etat also brought about conflicts among some ethnic groups in home of Uganda. New local nationalism was rampant. All of these was the hidden trouble in the development of the Ugandan Nation - state in future.
