The City and Plants

本文从植物这一较为特殊的角度来探讨城市。本文认为植物对坚硬的城市起着软化的作用,是对水泥建筑城市的一种补充和平衡。文章也分析了植物在城市中的部署规律,并且以此来探讨植物在城市中的文化建构特征。

This paper approaches the city from a special perspective of plants.The paper holds that plants have functioned as the softener of the solid city and hence the supplement and the balance to the city made of cement.Through the analysis of the regular patterns of the plants layout in the city,this paper explores the cultural construction features of the plants in the city as well.
