王祎是跨越元、明两代的作家,元末时在文坛已具一定的影响力。入明后,朱元璋礼聘包括王祎在内的多位婺州文人入幕辅佐,给他带来了绝好的机遇,王祎不仅在政事上声誉卓著,文学方面也保持了旺盛的创作力,成为具有全国性影响的作家。其在文艺上秉承儒家载道明理的主流文艺观点,但并不偏废纪事抒情,加之学养深厚、阅历丰富、感情诚挚深厚,遂形成了条理清晰、温厚雅正的诗文创作风格。

Wang Yi is a writer who across Yuan and Ming Dynasty.He had won renown in literary circles in late Yuan Dynasty.At the beginning of Ming Dynasty,Zhu Yuan zhang invited many WuZhou literati as his advisers,included Wang Yi.This bring him great opportunities,Wang Yi not only became a famous officials,but also became a writer who can influence the whole country.On literary views he follow the classic Confucian view,that literature works should convey the core ideas of Confucian philosophy,but he also place importance on narrative and express emotion,and with his very profound learning and rich life experience,his literature works show a organization and elegant style.
