Geological Survey is the Important Prerequisite and Foundation of Scientifically Implementing the Strategy That Develops the Coastal Area of Jiangsu Province

沿海开发地质调查必须先行,海洋地质是人类解决人口、资源、环境问题的重要途径之一,也是实施海洋经济、海洋战略的根本基础。江苏省的地貌、资源特点赋予了沿海开发地质工作的新使命,应以国内外沿海开发中的成效得失为鉴,在总结反思中明晰江苏海洋地质工作的主要方向,加快实施以沿海地区三难地质结构调查为重点的沿海开发地质保障工程,坚持规划先行、统筹发展、重点突破、循序渐进,稳步推进沿海开发地质保障各项工作。

Marine geology is both an important way for the humanity to solve the issues with regard to population,resources,and environment;as well as the basis for implementing marine economy and marine strategy.This paper mainly discusses some methods that should be taken by Jiangsu province,these are: taking warning from the results,gains and losses in the coastal development both at home and abroad;clarifying principal directions of marine geology work of Jiangsu based on summarizing the past work and self-examination;accelerating the implementation of the geological engineering for ensuring coastal development that focuses on three difficult points of geological structure survey in coastal area;persisting on planning first,overall development,breakthrough at key points,and advancing gradually in due order;proceeding steadily the all work with regard to geological support for coastal development.
