跨文化交流中的中国儿童文学英译——以《淘气包马小跳》为例

English translation of Chinese children's literature in intercultural communication——taking Naughty Ma Xiaotiao as an example

以《淘气包马小跳》的英译版作为研究对象,探讨了英文版在版式、人物名字、内容、及语言等层面的改变,说明我国原创儿童文学在通往英语文化的路上,不得不忍受诸多翻译上的改写,以适应强势的英语文化。

The paper takes the translation of Naughty Ma Xiaotiao as one example and makes an attempt to analyze the changes made in the English version in terms of format,characters＇ names,novel plots and language styles.As the star of Chinese children＇s original literature,Ma Xiaotao has to endure adaptations in many aspects on his way to the English culture.
