The Influence of Zhu Xi's People-oriented Thoughts on Zhu Zi's Scholars

朱熹重视民生,针对当时皇室、官僚、地主对百姓的压榨,朱熹提出正君、治官、安民的思想,客观上促进了中国民本思想的发展。同时,朱熹的民本思想也对朱子学者尤其是福建朱子学者产生了深远的影响,他们针对民众的心声和现实社会问题提出一系列改革措施,使下层人民在封建社会的桎梏下能得到一丝喘息的机会。

Zhu Xi emphasized on the people＇s livelihood.As to the oppression from the royals,the bureaucrats,and the landlords at that time,Zhu Xi proposed the thought that could constraint the king,governance the officials and stable people,which objectively promoted the development of Chinese people-oriented thought.Meanwhile,it had a deep influence on Zhu Zi＇s scholar,especially to those who lived in Fujian Province.They put forward a series of reforms measures and made the lower-class people live better under the feudal society.
