Similarities between Burke as a Master Rhetorician and Heidegger as a Master Philosopher

This paper makes a tentative comparison between Burke as a master rhetorician and Heidegger as a master philosopher in 20th century to show their similarities in the interest, source of enlightenment, attitude towards language function and existentialist philosophy. Burke and Heidegger have a same interest in literature, particularly in poetry, and a similar view on the influence of language on the field of vision, and view being in a wide context.
