历史文化名城转型发展的实践与思考——以江苏扬州为例

On the Practical Transformational Development of the Historical and Cultural City——Take Jiangsu Yangzhou for Example

面对工业化、城市化和社会现代化的深刻变革,历史文化名城如何应对挑战,推进转型发展,保持城市活力、彰显名城个性、提升人民生活质量,是亟待求解的重要课题。扬州以建设创新扬州、精致扬州、幸福扬州为抓手,致力于经济的转"新"、城市的转"特"、社会的转"优",初步探索了一条契合历史文化名城特质的转型发展之路。

Facing the industrialization, the urbanization and the social modernization, how can a hi,;torical and cultural city seize the opportunities for development, advance the transformational development, realize the benign interactions of economic prosperity, characters of a historical and cultural city and improvement of people＇ s standard of living are the important themes to be settled. With building an innovative, delicate and happy city as the starting point, Yangzhou the historical and cultural city is devoted to transforming the economy so it can be ＂innovative＂ , shifting the city＇ s character so it will be more ＂special＂ and turning the society to be more ＂optimized＂ . A transformational development road conforming to the characters of the historical and cultural city is probed into preliminarily.
