随着大范围的城市建设和经济开发,大量的历史文化古迹正逐渐从城市中消失,其造成的后果是城市历史文化的严重破坏与城市特色的丧失。如何保护历史文化名城成了我国经济、文化发展的重要课题。从保护的立法、管理、政策、资金、公众参与等方面,结合英、法、日等国的经验与我国现有情况作出比较。

With a wide range of urban and economic development, a large number of historical and cultural heritages are gradually disappearing from the city. The consequence is the history and culture of the city has been severely damaged and loss its own identity. How to protect historical and cultural values of the legendary city has been an important issue of China＇s economic and cultural development. This paper will compare from the legislation, management, policy, and funding, public participation and so on, with Britain, France, Japan and other countries.
