废名对进化论的反思与质疑

Fei Ming's Reflection and Query on the Theory of Evolution

废名著《阿赖耶识论》,意在破熊十力的《新唯识论》,但他一开始却是以摧毁进化论为目标的。他对进化论的驳斥,是在"质疑生物进化论"、"质疑社会进化论"、"质疑唯科学主义"等三个相关层面展开的。废名以不无偏激的言辞表现了一种较为保守的文化姿态,其思想中明显带有民族主义的情结和反现代性的倾向,但对于我们重新认识和深刻反思唯科学主义特别是进化学说实不乏启示意义。

Fei Ming wrote the book On Alaiye Doctrine in an attempt to challenge Xiong Shili＇s New Mere-consciousness Theory. In reality, he originally intended to retort the theory of evolution at three levels, including questioning theories of biological evolution, social evolution and scientism which are related to one another. Fei Ming adopted a relatively conservative cultural attitude with extreme words and obviously intense nationalism and a tendency of anti-modernity in his thoughts. At any rate, what he presents allows us to understand and reflect upon scientism in a new and deep manner.
