摘要 步态识别是生物特征识别技术的新领域,它具有可远距离获取、非接触性和非侵犯性、难以隐藏等优点,在未来智能视频监控系统中的应用前景广阔。重点介绍了步态识别技术的最新研究工作,涵盖了基于步态的性别识别、基于步态的年龄识别以及多视角步态识别等前沿技术,并对步态识别的未来发展趋势作了展望。 Gait recognition is a new research branch in the biometric recognition field. It can be obtained by relatively long distance without the need of physical contact, and it is hard to obscure and forge. Since gait as a biometric shows increasing recognition capability in intelligent video surveillance tasks, the recent advances of gait recognition technology is introduced, including the researches on gait-based gender recognition, gait-based age recognition and multiview gait recognition. The significant development trend of gait recognition is also investigated.
