高效率Doherty放大器的设计与仿真

摘要 效率和线性度是功率放大器的两个重要指标,影响着整个系统的性能。通过比较各种提高效率的方法中,选择结构简单的基于Doherty技术的功率放大器来实现。首先介绍了Doherty功率放大器的基本工作原理,然后选用飞思卡尔的MRF6S21140H芯片,应用微波仿真软件ADS设计了频段在2110~2170MHz的高效率Doherty功率放大器,得出其效率和增益曲线,最后通过和同样管芯的AB类功率放大器的效率做比较和分析,得出Doherty功率放大器的优势所在。 Efficiency and linearity are two important indicators of power amplifier, which affecting the whole system performance. An effective approach is implemented to improve efficiency through comparing various method based on the Doherty power amplifier technology which having simple structure. First the basic principle of Doherty power amplifier is introduced, and then efficiency and gain curve are obtained by microwave simulation software ADS for Freescale chip MRF6S21140H in the 2110 ~ 2170MHz band. Finally, the simulation results are presented to demonstrate the Doherty power amplifier advantage by comparing and analyzing efficiency with the same tube core power amplifier worked on AB Class.
