1840年鸦片战争以后,民族复兴成为中国社会发展的主题。辛亥革命的发生、新民主主义革命的胜利、"文化大革命"的结束、中国特色社会主义道路的开辟,是推动民族复兴大业的四次历史性总结,有丰富的经验,也有深刻的教训。中国共产党成立以后,承担起领导中国人民实现民族复兴的历史重任,90年来取得了辉煌成就。在新的历史条件下,进一步加强党的自身建设,提高执政能力,保持走在时代前列的先进性,对于实现民族复兴具有极其重要的意义。

Since the Opium War in 1840, national rejuvenation has remained as the theme for the social development of China. The occurrence of the Revolution of 1911, the victory of the New Democratic Revolution, the ending of the＂ Cultural Revolution＂, and the opening of the road to socialism with Chinese characteristics, are four historical summaries to promote our national rejuvenation, with both rich experiences and profound lessons. Since its founding, the Communist Party of China has undertaken the historical responsibility to lead the Chinese people in their realization of national rejuvenation, and also made splendid achievements. Under new historical conditions, the Party will further strengthen its self-construction, enhance its governing capacity, and maintain its advancement at the forefront of the times, all of which is of great importance to the realization of national rejuvenation.
