The Legitimacy of Desert Based on Contribution——Reconstruction and Discussion of Two Ordinary Justification

作为分配规范中一种可能的原则,贡献应得引发了诸多讨论。两种常见的支持贡献应得的论证各有其道理,但理由并不十分充分。基于功利主义的论证在有效性和正当性上都存在一些缺陷;而基于自我所有权的论证则难以解决贡献应得与限制性条款之间的兼容问题。有鉴于此,对贡献应得的探讨还需要更进一步的拓展和深入。

As a possible principle in distributive norms, desert based on contribution sparks a lot of discussion. Two ordinary justifications which support desert based on contribution seems to be reasonable in some sense, but they are not convinced enough. Justification based on utilitarianism suffers some defects in terms of validity and legitimacy; while justification based on self - ownership is unable to solve the conflict between desert based on contribution and Lockean proviso. Therefore, it is necessary to explore desert based on contribution further.
