Memetics is the theory used to explain the evolution and transmission of culture.It uncovers developing rule of language and provides a new type of thinking for the research on language.This paper explores the development of vocabulary of China English as well as the strong meme from the aspect of memetics and Chinese culture.The result indicates that vocabulary of China English is the product of duplication,imitation and variation of the prototype meme.The vocabulary of China English is approved by the foreign countries and thus becomes the strong meme with powerful vitality and plays a positive role in the intercultural communication.
