This paper introduces the basic definition of sustainable development,analyzes the background of low-carbon economy and its relationship with climate changes,discusses the similarities and differences between low-carbon economy and energy reservation and emission reduction,presents three market mechanisms to develop low-carbon economy including carbon trade,clean developing mechanism and combined implementation.In addition,this paper also introduces the implementing plan and contents of the carbon emission labeling mechanism,and analyzes in detail the calculation criteria,product definition and calculation standard of carbon footprint.The purpose of this paper is to facilitate our domestic enterprises to better adapt to the carbon emission labeling mechanism.
