In the article,it is analyzed the present situations for management of audio-visual archives and proposed the thinking and suggestions on it.In order to normalize the management of audio-visual archives,the publicity,relative measures and supervision should be strengthened,the professional training should be paid attention to,the appropriate storage conditions should be created,the collecting channels should be dredged,the competent department is suggested to take part in the relative major events and the archives should be guaranteed to be filed completely.
