Wushu Cultural Study on the Early Stage of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom

太平天国运动早期,以"大馆"聚众习武传播革命思想,"团营"筹备起义时以各种拳术、器械及武术辅助训练方法等军阵武艺提高战斗力;革命领袖倡武术、太平将领多高手,上自革命领袖、高级将领下至广大群众,包括妇女、儿童都积极参与武术训练,使其具有了极强的战斗力。太平天国运动早期武术起到了凝聚群众,传播革命思想,提高作战能力,粉碎清军及地方团练围剿的巨大历史作用。

In the early of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom,big ball was the main place to gather people practicing Wushu and spreading revolutionary ideas,all kinds of Quanshu,weapons and Wushu supplementary training methods improved the combat effectiveness of military in the preparation for Group Camp uprising,many revolutionary leads advocated Wushu and Taiping generals were mast-hands,the leads,senior offices and even women and children took active part in Wushu training,all those made Taiping army have strong fighting.Wushu in the early Taiping Heavenly Kingdom played an important party in increasing the cohesion of masses,disseminating revolutionary ideas,improving combat capability,smashing the attack from the Qing＇s army and local military.
