摘要
《德伯家的苔丝》是哈代的一部悲剧性巨著。作品塑造了一个被侮辱、被损害,又不甘于命运摆布,在邪恶的社会底层挣扎、反抗的乡村妇女形象。在她短暂的生命历程中她死过三次,然后又重生,但终究摆脱不了悲剧命运。
＂Tess＂ is a tragic masterpiece of Thomas Hardy.It created an rural woman image who was insulted and damaged,but was not willing to succumb the fate,who struggled and againsted in the bottom of evil.In the course of her short life,she died three times,and then reborn,but could not escape from the tragic fate in the end.
