双语词典中的术语翻译问题

术语在科技发展、文化传承和社会进步中起着举足轻重的作用。但术语有科技术语和社会科学术语之分。本文着重关注社会科学术语,因此,本文文中如不特别说明,提到术语一般指的都是科学技术术语。在双语词典中,包含社会科学术语是必要而且是不可避免的。本文尝试找到较好的社会科学术语的翻译方法以便于帮助词典用户提高他们的学习效率。

Terms play an important role in the scientific development,cultural heritage and social progress.There is difference between two types of terms,i.e.technological terms and social science terms.This paper focuses on social science terms.The inclusion of social science terms in bilingual dictionary is necessary and inevitable.To be brief,terms used in the paper will indicate social science terms if there is no specific reference.This paper attempts to find better translating methods to help dictionary users improve their study efficiency.
