论我国城镇地区高知女性的择偶困境——以苏州市吴中区为例

On the Plight of Finding Ideal Spouses for Highly Educated Urban Females——Based on a Case Study in Wuzhong District of Suzhou

基于分受教育程度,对苏州市吴中区20—29岁(2006年)已婚夫妇的教育匹配、年龄匹配、户籍匹配、地域匹配与独生子女身份匹配进行分析,在此基础上结合城镇高知女性所处的教育发展环境与独生子女性别年龄结构对城镇高知女性不得不面对的择偶困境原因进行了探索,认为城镇女大学生与男大学生数量在婚龄差上的错位及城镇独生女与独生子数量在婚龄差上的错位是造成城镇高知女性择偶困难的重要客观原因。

This paper,based on a case study carried out in Wuzhong District of Suzhou,aims at exploring the reasons behind the difficulty of highly educated urban females in finding their ideal spouses.Through analyzing the matching of education background,age,household register,location and singleton status between married couples aged 20 to 29 in 2006 in Wuzhong District,Suzhou,it is found that the mismatch in marriageable age caused by the difference in the number of urban female university students and male universities students and the mismatch in marriageable age caused by the difference in the number of urban males and females have been playing a crucial role in the plight of finding marriageable partners for highly educated urban females.
