摘要
通过转基因动物的乳腺生产珍贵的药用蛋白质，这对生物医药产业界充满诱惑力。一方面，诸如牛、羊等转基因家畜生产的人重组蛋白质是经过转录后加工和修饰的，与人的蛋白质十分相似，因而具有高的生物活性。另一方面，与传统医药工业相比，转基因动物污染少、利润高，因此是一个理想的重组蛋白生产方式。
The production of valuable pharmaceutical proteins via the lactating mammary glands of transgenic animals is a novel means in bio tech/pharmaceutical industry.The recombinant proteins produced by transgenic livestock,such as cows,goats and sheep,have high biological activity because they have been undergone post translational processions and necessary modifications which are similar to those in human.Moreover,transgenic livestock causes less pollution and make more profits than traditional pharmaceutical factories,therefore,representing an ideal route for the production of recombinant proteins.
