城镇化与扩大内需的作用机理——兼谈我国农村城镇化的基本路径

The Function Mechanism of Urbanization and Expanding the Domestic Demand

城镇化有利于扩大社会的生产性需求和居民的生活性消费需求,可以创造多元需求,产生多重效应,并为三次产业的协调发展提供历史机遇,是当前扩大内需的新动力和必然选择。发展中国特色的城镇化,应坚持政府宏观调控和市场机制相协调的原则,消除限制城镇化发展的制度因素,积极培育内需导向型经济,把城市群作为推进城镇化的主体形态,努力创造区域经济一体化新格局。

Urbanization is beneficial for expanding society＇s productive demand and rural and urban citizens＂ consuming demand; it can help create diversified demand with diversified effects; it can provide the historical opportunities for the coordination development of the tertiary industry; it is the new driven forces and inevitable choice for expanding domestic demand. To develop urbanization with Chinese characteristics, we should, first, adhere to the principles of coordinating government macro control and market mechanism, second, we should eliminate all the institutional factors limiting the development of urbanization; and third, we should cultivate domestic-demand-oriented economy and take city group as the main player in promoting the development of urbanization to create a new situation of regional economic integration.
