摘要
研究并制作了12信道并行光接收模块,单信道传输速率大于等于3.318Gbit/s,12信道并行总传输速率为40Gbit/s。模块采用工作波长在850nm的高速PIN型光电探测器(PD)列阵作为光接收器件,PD列阵与接收电路芯片直接用Au丝压焊连接,输入光信号直接由12信道的光纤阵列耦合进入PD列阵中。对光接收模块进行眼图测试,单信道可以得到速率为3.318Gbit/s的清晰眼图。
In this paper,a 12-channel parallel optical receiver module with each channel ts data rate up to 3. 318 Gbit/s is designed and fabricated. An 850 nm GaAs photodetector (PD) array is adopted as the receiver device,and the PD chip is directly wire bonded to a 12-channel high speed IC. The inputs of the PD array are directly coupled into a 12-channel fiber array. We developed a new technology using jointing machine to couple the PD array with fiber array without power supply. The efficiency is 80 % and the error of coupling is less than 1 μm. The total data rate of the receiver module is more than 40 Gbit/s.
