凑微分法与分部积分法的公式中均有凑微分的过程，学生易混淆。针对这一情况，文中提出一种直观、简洁、易于学生掌握的方法——“折”、“选”、“凑”、“判”四步法，帮助学生快速准确地选择凑微分因子和积分方法，从而可以快速解题。
