摘要
本文借助"大E工程"的两个知识体模型,简单刻画了偏重技术的传统工程学科在集成科学元素以后实现的"大E工程"第一次转型,以及初见端倪的与非STEM元素再集成的"大E工程"第二次转型。阐述了"大E工程"知识体的这两个模型如何对麻省理工学院的"Engineering with a big E"作出透彻的解读。为使主题明了起见,本文首先对学科概念予以必要的理论讨论,最后以麻省理工学院作为个案加以说明。
With the two models of body knowledge of "ENGINEERING", this paper briefly illustrates the first transformation of "ENDINEERING" from the traditional technology-typed disciplines to science- typed ones with the integration of science elements, and its second transformation of the new engineering-typed disciplines with the integration of non-STEM elements. This paper introduces how the two models clearly explain the MIT's "Engineering with a big E". Meanwhile, this paper discusses the essential concept of discipline, and then takes MIT as the case just for the theme.
