This paper studies the content of professional training mode scheme of ＂outstanding engineers training plan＂, in order to provide references for the implement of the plan for those universities of the same kind. Through the exploration and thoughts on the training mode scheme of the plan in Power and Energy Engineering Institute of Harbin Engineering University, the paper carries out a helpful exploration on talents＇ training and management of outstanding engineers training plan for ship＇s powerplant.
