Objective: To investigate the changes of P-selectin level in coronary heart disease(CHD),coronary heart disease complicating diabetes mellitus(DM).The relationship of P-selectin and blood glucose in CHD were Analyzed. Methods: 96 patients who were in our hospital from October 2007 to October 2009 were selected,28 cases were stable angina pectoris(SA),24 cases were unstable angina pectoris(UAP),24 cases were stable angina pectoris complicating diabetes(SA+T2DM) and 20 cases were unstable angina pectoris complicating diabetes(UAP+T2DM).20 healthy persons were chosen as control group. The levels of P-selectin of serum were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) technique. Results: The general information in each group had no statistical significance except BMI.Compared with the control group, the level of P-selectin in other four groups were significantly increased(F=9.365,P0.05);and P-selectin levels in UAP group were higher than that in corresponding group of SA.The P-selectin level in SA+T2DM and UAP+T2DM group correlated with HbA1c and FPG(r=0.316,P=0.041;r=0.341,P=0.037;r=0.347,P=0.032;r=0.384,P=0.020),whereas there was no correlativity between Ps and blood glucose in other three groups. Conclusion: The arising of P-selectin levels in serum might reflect the severity of coronary heart disease;hyperglycemia may play a role in activating the platelet in patients with CHD.
