The regulation of Wnt3a signaling pathway and its function in diabetes mellitus

摘要 Wnt3a属于Wntl类蛋白,通过调控Wnt经典信号通路各组成蛋白的作用实现其在细胞中的功能。在细胞信号网路调控中,Wnt3a信号通路主要与骨形态发生蛋白(BMP)/Smads、转化生长因子-β(TGF-β)/Smad3和丝裂原活化蛋白激酶(MAPKs)家族信号分子之间存在交互(crosstalk)调控。近年来研究表明,Wnt3a信号通路不仅调控胰岛B细胞的代谢和功能,而且参与糖尿病并发症的发生、发展,显示其在糖尿病中具有越来越重要的作用。 As one of the members of the Wntl proteins,Wnt3a is thought to perform its cellular function by controlling cooperative proteins in the canonical pathway of Wnt signaling. There are three main cross-talkings between Wnt3a and other signaling pathways such as bone morphogenic protein (BMP)/ Smads,transforming growth factor(TGF)-β/Smad3 and mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs). Recent studies have indicated that Wnt3a signaling not only plays an important role in the regulation of metabolism and function in pancreatic β-cells, but also may be responsible for the onset and progression of diabetic complications. So that the association of the Wnt3a with diabetes becomes more and more important.
