The Characteristics and Experience of Urbanization in China

中国城市化经历了曲折的过程,也取得了辉煌的成绩。中国城市化突破双重约束,从剧烈波动到徘徊阶段,又经历从持续发展到快速发展阶段,起到了实现中国工业化战略目标的政策工具作用。优先发展小城镇的城市化道路和中国稳定的农村土地制度,使中国未陷于"拉美陷阱",但由于其充当政策工具作用而形成的种种制度障碍,使"半城市化"问题严重,城乡矛盾加重,社会问题不断积累。

Urbanization has experienced a tortuous process,but also made brilliant achievements in China.This thesis analyzes the characteristics,experiences and problems of urbanization in China.China＇s urbanization has played the role of policy instruments in the industrialization process,which has broken through dual constraints,and undergone wandering stage from volatile stage,then undergone rapid development from a sustainable development.China has not been mired in the ＂Latin American trap＂ for priority of small towns and stability of the rural land system,but has such problems as ＂semi-urbanization＂,urban-rural aggravated conflicts and some social problems because of its role as policy instruments forming the various institutional barriers.
