On the Development and Evolution of CCP's Religious Policy since the Reform and Opening Up

改革开放以来,中国共产党对宗教及其社会作用的认识和相应的政策选择有一个不断演进的过程,其中社会主义要不要包容宗教,宗教能不能为社会主义服务亦见颇多热议。"合理存在协调论"、"积极引导适应论"、"与时俱进和谐论"就分别代表不同时期的不同特点。梳理这一过程,弄清其中的脉络,对我们认识和利用宗教具有重要意义。

Since reform and opening,the Party＇s understanding of religion and its social functions and choice of corresponding policy underwent an evolving process in which whether a socialist country should keep religion and whether religion can serve for socialism were discussed heatedly.＂Reasonable existence and coordination theory＂ and ＂actively guide and adaptation＂,＂advance with times of Harmony＂ represented the different characteristics of different periods.Carding this process,understanding the context can be of great significance for us to understand and use religion.
