摘要
WLAN是90年代开始的计算机网络与无线通信技术相结合的产物。由于WLAN具备灵活性、可移动性和易扩展性,既能被当作有线宽带接入的补充也能和广域的3G等技术相配合解决重要区域的局域无线宽带接入,因此目前在实际应用中越来越受到通信运营商、企业、家庭和个人的重视、喜爱。WLANMesh是WLAN技术发展的一个分支和重要方向,它比传统的WLAN技术更适合覆盖较大面积开放区域(包括室外和室内),也就是将传统WLAN中的无线热"点"串成了"面"。本文主要从WLAN技术基础出发,探讨WLAN技术在Mesh方面发展的理论情况,以及作为运营商而言WLAN Mesh技术在实际业务开展中的应用前景。
WLAN is conjuncted by computer network and wireless technology from 1990s. Now more and more telecommunications operator, corporations, families and individuals attach importance to WLAN because of its convenient expansibility, which helps WLAN can not only be regarded as important supplement of lineate Broad Band, but major wireless Broad Band for covering hotspots. WLAN mesh is one branch of WLAN, and has its special advantages in covering wild open areas, which bunches many wireless sopts to plane. This article discusses from the base of WLAN technology to WLAN mesh technology and applications evolution.
