转换生成语法对德语名词翻译的指导意义

The Translation of German Nouns under the Guidance of Transformational Generative Grammar

乔姆斯基提出的转换生成语法把人类语言共性提高到了一个前所未有的高度,奈达在转换生成语法的基础上提出的动态对等理论令人耳目一新。文章试以乔姆斯基的转换生成语法和奈达的动态对等为理论框架,应用于德语名词的汉译,从增减词、词性转换和词类选择三个层面来分析德语名词的汉译过程,发现在转换生成理论的指导下,德语名词的汉译更能够为目的语读者所理解,达到动态对等的目的,在原语读者和目的语读者心中形成基本相同的效果。

Chomsky＇s Transformational Generative Grammar puts the common nature of human languages to an unprecedented level.Nida proposed the theory of Dynamic Equivalence on the basis of generative grammar is more refreshing.This paper tries to analyze the translation of German nouns into Chinese,from such the three levels as words change,word conversion and word selection,on the basis of the Transformational Generative Grammar and Dynamic Equivalence.This paper finds out that in the framework of TG,the translation of German nouns could be easily understood by the target language readers,achieve the purpose of dynamic equivalence,and form basically the same effect in the source language readers and target language readers.
