The general method and basic concept of uncertainty evaluation was introduced.The uncertainty measuring methods of determination the 4-CBA in PTA by HPLC were studied.When（coverage factor） K=2,the testing result and uncertainty of the content of 4-CBA in PTA is（21.59±0.73） mg/kg.
