摘要
组织工程是应用细胞生物学和工程学的原理,研究和开发、修复和改善损伤组织和功能的生物替代物的一门科学,是继细胞生物学和分子生物学之后,生命科学发展史上又一新的里程碑,标志着医学将走出器官移植的范畴,步入制造组织和器官的新时代。 组织工程是在组织水平上操作的生物工程,主要致力于组织和器官的形成和再生,它是对外科领域中组织、器官缺损和功能障碍传统治疗方法和模式的一次革命。同时组织工程是一门多学科交叉的边缘学科,将是21世纪具有巨大潜力的高技术产业,必将产生巨大的社会和经济效益。 目前组织工程己得到了迅猛发展,在许多方面已取得重大突破,由于其所孕育的巨大科学价值及广阔的研究和应用前景,成了未来21世纪生命科学研究领域的焦点之一。因此,在国内尽快地建立和开展组织工程研究,对加快我国医学科学事业和国民经济的发展具有重大意义。
Tissue engi-neering, applying the theory of cellbiology and engineering, is a science of study to develop biologic substitutes for repairing tissue defects and improving organ function. It is a new milestone in life science succeeding cytobiology and molecular biology, marking that the medical science will step into a new epoch-fabricating tissue and organ for transplantation. The major mission of this engineering is to reform and regenerate tissue and organ by bio-engineering method at tissue level. It is a revo-ution of surgical means and mode to treat tis-
sue defects and organ function disorder. Tissue engineering, as a hi -tech industry correlating with a lot of other fields, has enormity potential oower, which will bring about substantial social and economic effectiveness. Tissue engineering has being gained great expanding and significance break in lots of field. Due to its great scientific value and wide applying prospect, tissue engineering is becoming the central point in life science research in the 21st century. Accordingly, establishing and developing tissue engineering en-terprise, as soon as possible, possesses great significance in accelerating medical science and national economy development.
