摘要
碑文勃兴于东汉,经魏、晋以至南朝,逐步走向衰落。墓志起始于刘宋,在南朝文苑中颇为常见,然而成就较高者不多。就功能而言,碑文侧重于通过颂扬死者功德以寄托哀思,而墓志除述德颂功外,又很注重记事。南朝碑志文继承了东汉蔡邕以来重文采的风尚,多俪体行文,对句精工,藻采华赡,用典贴切,音律协谐,体现出很高的审美价值。
The monumental writings thrived in the Eastern Han Dynasty. From Wei ,Jin Dynasties to Southern Dynasties,it was always in decline. Epitaph began in Liu Song Dynasty and it was always popular in Southern Dynasties. However,there were a few writings with much higher achievement in the literary circles. With respect to the function, the monumental writings focused on consigning the writer's grief by means of praising the merits of the dead. Besides singing praises to the dead, the epitaph attached importance to narrating the story. The monumental writings and epitaphs in Southern Dynasties inherited the tradition of paying attention to literary grace from Caiyong in Eastern Han Dynasty. The writings adopted parallel style which had delicate antithesis, luxuriant words, proper allusions and harmonious syllables, thus manifesting the high aesthetic value.
