Glutamine is a conditional essential amino acid.It not only involved in the synthesis of many nutrients and their metabolism in vivo ,but also is an immune regulator,which can improve immune function.Effects of glutamine on immune organs,immune ceils and immune molecules were reviewed in this article,as well as the regulatory pathway of glutamine on immune function.
