A General Review of Research on "China Rural Library" and Its Future Prospects

"农村书屋"工程是由行政统一规划、组织实施的一项旨在惠及广大农民、推动农村文化建设的重要工程。从党的十七届三中全会提出这项惠民工程后,很多专家学者对农村书屋的建设情况进行了研究。本文对众多的研究进行了综述,并提出了"农村书屋"需要继续加强建设的内容。

The implementation of ＂China Rural Library＂,a program proposed at the Third Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China aimed at promoting cultural construction in China＇s rural areas,not only brings the neediest books to the rural Chinese,especially the youngsters among them,but also educates them to be modern citizens.Hence,the program has drawn the attention of many scholars who attempt to study the conditions and current progress of the construction of ＂China Rural Library＂.This paper deals with a general review of relevant researches pertaining to the ＂China Rural Library＂ program and puts forward some suggestions for the further development of the program.
