“把银行办成真正的银行。”这是邓小平对中国银行业改革的期望。 2005年10月27日，建行成功登陆港交所，拉开国有商业银行股改上市的好戏。 2006年6月1日、7月5日，中行分别在港交所、上证所挂牌，实现“A＋H”股上市，国有商业银行上市渐入佳境。

China’s "Big Four" banks, which are China Construction Bank, Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, went public one after another from 2005 to 2010. The IPO of "Big Four" banks is a long and tough journey for themselves. But finally they are reborn as real commercial banks. Moreover, it’s a leap for the development of China’s banking industry as well as a continuous and deeper phase of China’s financial reform.Going public is an absolutely necessary phase for the reform of state-run banks but not the ultimate goal.
