Studies on Russian industrial structure in Yeltsin period from the angle of economic transition

This article generalizes Russian agricultural development, and analyzes its development strategy. Combing through its overall agricultural policy, the article comes to the conclusion that Russia has once again become one of the main grain exporters, but it remains generally of low agricultural development level, its strategic development objective is confined to trade protection and import substitution. The agriculture policy is mainly state subsidy. The policy thinking to encourage introduction of foreign capital into agriculture, to make innovations and develop modern agriculture is yet unclear.
