Construction Grammar :the New Perspective of Cognitive Linguistics

This paper is to analyze the historical background and basic views of construction grammar,aiming at exploring Goldberg＇s viewpoints on this theory and its features.It has concisely summarized its major contributions in child language acquisition and Chinese language research.Construction grammar tries to interpret language nature from a brand new perspective by breaking the fixed research patterns in linguistic field and thus sheds light on those linguistic phenomena which failed to be explained before,achieving a theory innovation.
