With the development of Internet technology and enterprise network infrastructure, it's urgently necessary for many existing MIS' s, Which are based on DOS and running on NOVELL, to be connected to TCP/IP network (e. g. campus network) such that, while gaining global data - sharing, it cankeep the original functions and protect the previous investment benefit. In this paper a solution to theproblem is described, which has proven to be practical and effective.
