A Post-colonial Interpretation of Yeats' Mystical Thinking

神秘主义思想是叶芝一生创作的重要来源。从早期对爱尔兰民间传说和神话的收集发展至晚期神秘体系的形成,叶芝构建了自己一整套神话体系。通过从后殖民角度出发,对叶芝神秘主义及其体系的发展过程进行梳理,对于理解诗人用神秘主义进行创作的方式和目的起到一定的帮助,从而更好地理解叶芝诗歌中的神秘主义思想。

Mystical thinking is the source of creation for Yeats all his life.From his collecting Irish folk legend at his early stage to the development into the formation of a mystical system in the later period,Yeats constructed a complete system of his own on mythology.From a post-colonial perspective,the present paper sorts out the process of Yeats＇ mysticism and its development,being somewhat helpful for the interpretation of the poet＇s ways and purpose in creation with mysticism,and for a better understanding of Yeats＇ mystical thinking in his poems.
