A Textual Research on Some Historical Facts Concerning Liuqiu,Taiwan and Penghu in Yuan Dynasty

元朝出兵求,曾在朝廷引发了一场争议,而其对求的政策,也几经变化。本文详细辨析元朝廷上的文武之争,并考证元军出兵求的基地汀路尾澳即在澎湖列岛。元末彭湖巡检司官员周草庭及陈信惠的活动,反映了该司所辖彭湖乡兵到过福建沿海,同样,他们也有可能到过台湾西南沿海。

The issue of the dispatch of troops to Liuqiu provoked a serious Court debate in Yuan Dynasty.The Court＇s policy towards Liuqiu also experienced several changes.This paper detailedly differentiates the debate among the civil and military officials on the Court,and textually researches the fact that the Yuan army＇s military base of Tingluweiao on Liuqiu was on the Penghu islands.The activities of Zhou Caoting and Chen Xinhui,who were officials of the Penghu Patrol Station in the late Yuan Dynasty,reflected that the Penghu militia the Station controlled went to Fujian coastal areas.Likewise,they might also go to the southwest coast of Taiwan.
