Planning and Design of Guangzhou South Station

根据广州市城市规划,对车站地理位置进行综合分析,提出车站选址原则,通过对场坪条件、客流吸引范围、城市规划、交通衔接和工程投资等进行综合分析比较,确定车站站址,根据广州铁路枢纽总图规划及车站各衔接线路情况确定车站规模,提出车站平面布置形式、车场分工、车站立面设计方案,明确站房建筑规模及旅客流线设计,阐述新技术的使用,提出交通衔接规划。通过广州南站车站特点归纳,对大型铁路客运站设计有借鉴意义。

Principles for selecting the location of station were suggested according to the city planning of Guangzhou; the station address was fixed through the comprehensive analysis and comparison of field conditions, extent of passenger attraction, city planing, traffic connection and project investment etc. According to the general planning map of Guangzhou railway hub and the connection lines of the station, the station scale was determined, the plan layout of the station, function division of vehicle yard, elevation design of the station were put forward, the scale of station buildings and passenger flow line design were clarified, the application of new techniques were expounded, the traffic connection plan was put forward. Summation of the features of Guangzhou south station will be helpful for the design of large scale passenger stations.
